A snapshot of guest ratings and stories behind the stay.
“The staff were excellent and location was great. The Assembly Inn is stone, and was built a long time ago. They have done upgrades, but think of it as staying in a stone castle...a little cold and damp. It was raining all week we were there, so there is that. The food was very good, and the atmosphere was chsrming Beautiful views. Black Mountain is a cute little town with ice cream and artisans, what's not to love?”
“Very wonderful place to visit. Highly recommend however, I do hope they do something about the dust. Air filters are needed. My only criticism. Go anyways, it feels enchanted.”
“The rooms are no frills. But the building and location are breathtaking. The staff works hard to ensure a satisfying stay. They have a buffett style dining that is always fresh and plentiful. I've stayed here twice and plan to bring more friends to experience this beautiful natural area.”
